Ahhhhh Friday is here and I can’t think of a better way to welcome in the weekend than these pictures from Anna Morosini .  She has a vast array of subjects and motifs in her photographs, everything from surrealism, city shots, and portraits.  I can not get over the incredible assortment of colors in the first image, the way the sky’s hue changes from a deep purple, to a royal blue, to a bright amber like orange reminds me a lot of great times in college when I would look up and enjoy the Penns

Recently, Michael Ruhlman commented on an article about the inevitable extinction of home cooking. He disagreed with this idea, and called out two blogs in praise of home cooks. Sunday June 7 th , 2009   Although my ears were still ringing from last nights performance at the PNC center, I knew today was going to be one I would never forget. It started around noon. The only day Long Island had blue skies and sunshine during the month of June. Not complaining about the beautiful weather just wasn’t a priority on my things I must not forget list….
